How well do you know your knots? These knot boards come from our neighbours to the south, the Boy Scouts of America. These will be a challenge and if you can get more than half of the following 40 knots correct, you know your knots VERY well indeed. First, enter the names of the knots that you know in the corresponding box below each knot board below. To check your answers (or if you want to cheat) just roll your mouse cursor over the number of the knot on the board and the correct answer will appear before your very eyes. Don't be overly concerned if the name of the knot doesn't exactly agree with the one you put down. Some knots have several different names, usually originating from the group who used them (for example the Fisherman's Knot). GOOD LUCK ! |
